Boardwalk still closed

The lower one, that is, that leads from the car wash to Half Acre Lane, by Metapic Wood. DCC will be fixing it as soon as the weather will let them access the site. Please do not ignore the closed signs, the boardwalk is unfit for boots.

UNSTONE
WHEN: 28th November 2019 – 18th December 2019
WHERE: Close Public Footpath 73 Dronfield from its
junction with Public Footpath 53 to its junction with
the Parish Boundary. Close the full length of Public
Footpath 52 Unstone.
REASON: To facilitate public safety due to rotten
sections of boardwalk.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the north-west, Public
Footpath 53 – Unstone Hill (B6057) – Public Footpath

  1. Vice versa from the south-east.
    Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible,
    on the affected length of bridleway. The bridleway will reopen
    as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier
    than advertised.
