We have had to suspend our organised walks this year…but if you are like us, we have carried on walking as much as we can. OK, we are extra-lucky, as we live at the very edge of the village, we have a plethora of good, safe footpaths and quiet lanes to walk around. For instance, my almost 7 mile circular walk today included only half a mile of roadside walking…

My walk today was from Unstone, alongside the Mighty Drone, up to the Unstone Line, up to the TV masts, along the lanes via Hundall to Apperknowle and Summerley, down through Frith Wood, up Hallowes Lane, then along the track to Ouzle Bank where thankfully, the final mile was all downhill!
